Johanna Sinisalo to write Iron Sky.
The Writer for Iron Sky was finally revealed at Finncon last sunday. Iron Sky is written by the award-winning author Johanna Sinisalo [Wikipedia].
Iron Sky is based on an original idea by Jarmo Puskala and the Energia team and Johanna will be working as a screenwriter, bringing her experience, wit and creativity to the project.
Iron Sky will still be first and foremost a movie by Energia, but we're very happy to work with Johanna. In addition to her literary credits she has two decades of experience in television writing, including some of the most popular Finnish television series.
Johanna Sinisalo is a Finnish writer, best known for her novel Not before sundown (fin. Ennen päivänlaskua ei voi USA. Troll - A love story), published in 2000. In the same year it was awarded the Finlandia price in literature, the most prestigious literary award in Finland.
